Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) - Established Member of the World Green Building Council

RoGBC is the first Eastern Europe Council to achieve this distinction and join the current 16 full member national councils of the World GBC.

'As we continue through challenging times for the construction industry, my attendance here in Copenhagen convinced me more than ever that we are absolutely doing the right thing and preparing us for a future when citizens, government, and the marketplace will demand more responsible performance from our industry. I am cognizant that it is of fundamental importance to our members that we, as a council, do everything we can to encourage significant investment in sustainable construction projects. The RoGBC team is dedicated to this task as well as to provide low-cost training to obtain the skills necessary in a green economy' says Mr. Steven Borncamp, President Romania Green Building Council.
