Since it launched its operations in Romania in year 1992, UPC Romania has become one of the largest telecommunications companies delivering cable television, satellite television, broadband Internet and digital telephony to more than 1.3 million subscribers, covering approximately 200 cities throughout Romania.

The largest acquisition made by UPC was cable television provider Astral Telecom, along with other 13 companies, in October 2005.

As a result of its fast development through various acquisitions, UPC moved its headquarters into a modern, multi-storied office building located in the North of Bucharest.

The scope of COS turn-key solution office design was as follows:

After initial briefing meetings, the following workplace requirements became clear:

As a result, Corporate Office Solutions proposed and delivered a turn-key solution, comprising of interior design & architectural services, full height glazed and laminated partitions, carpet, furniture and accessories, logistics.

The functional yet special designs created by COS design team promised to enhance interaction between employees and their well being at work, through the choice of: special designed carpet in bright colours, Steelcase TNT* operational desks and Steelcase Trigos management desks in maple laminated tops and silver legs, Let's B and Please office chairs in blue /red fabric, Steelcase laminated and metallic storage, modular interior partition systems in glass and wood, custom made kitchen furniture, blinds.
